– The presidency is not happy with Sahara Reporters April fools day prank

– The presidency said the prank was senseless and tasteless

April fools’ day is celebrated every year on April 1 and people come up with all sorts of prank. Sahara Reporters decided to joke with the President Muhammadu Buhari’s health and the presidency is not finding it funny. The president is currently in Washington for the Nuclear Security Summit.

Sahara Reporters took to their Twitter handle to say, Buhari collapsed during a press conference and was rushed to the hospital where he was hospitalized.

In a swift react, the personal assistant to the president on new media, Bashir Ahmad and the digital strategy and engagement unit in Buhari’s office described the prank as senseless and tasteless.
